Promotions are in order...
Some of you may already know that I am a volunteer member of the Civil Air Patrol, the U.S. Air Force auxiliary. As of July 16, 2007, I traded the single silver bar of a first lieutenant and pinned on the silver 'railroad tracks' of a captain.
Farewell to the CAP LPA! (Lieutenant's Protective Association; the mythical - and unofficial - group of 2d and 1st Lts who protect their own from the brass.) And remember, no promotion is ever official unless it's been wetted down at the O-Club bar! :D |
i actually dont know what that means, but it must be awesome. congrats!
ETA: AlphaFrog has informed me that this post was indeed my 1,922nd post and that i meant to make it a special one ... so ... yeah ... umm ... EEE-yip! |

Congratulations (again), Captain. Order Arms! Hitch a ride up to Buckley and we'll find a suitable place to wet down those tracks. |
Congratulations - and bottoms up!

Congratulations Captain AlphaSigOU and God bless!

Our idea of an 'officer's club' is hanging out for dinner and a beer after the meeting at Two Rows brewery and restaurant in Addison. Thus, we've unofficially dubbed Two Rows as the 'Addison Squadron Officer's Club.' :D |
I Salute you Mon Capitan!:):D
