Regional Convention Worries... :(
 
SO... Our sorority is farely new on Campus. We have a very tight budget as far as Regionals is concerned and are in desperate need to fundraise and develop a regional convention in the next two months. HELP ANYONE??

Fundraising ideas to make a quick 15-20,000????:confused:

I know. that sounds absurd!! ah! haha:eek:

"Develop" a regional convention?? Does that mean you're trying to plan and host the darn thing?? And it's 2 months away???

No, I have no good ideas for that at this time.

We're planning on hosting a Regional Conference in Hollywood. And everything in LA. Costs so darn much!! haha.:(

How many chapters have to send delegates?
How many people do you expect to attend?

Your sorority is not very large, it seems. How would sisters feel about crashing with other sisters for lodging? We do that all the time in APO.

Your closing banquet could be held in a side/back room of a restaurant.....

Workshops could be held on campus -- most schools don't charge their own organizations to use classrooms....

And don't forget registration fees will defray some of the costs.
