Profanity
 

Is there any way we could refrain from using profanity on this board? Most all of the Greek Chat regulars do not use it constantly, but there are a few new posters who seem to love it. It just gives the whole board a bad look, and considering the variety of people that read this board, it looks bad on the Greek system as a whole.I'm not saying that I haven't and do not use profanity in conversation occasionally, but when typing, I think it's alot easier to find a "nicer" word. To these posters: It is tasteless, tacky, and PLEASE don't do it when you rush!

I totally agree - but sometimes I slip and I don't write the actual word - but I write he_l or I saw someone say H.E. double hockey sticks. But you are right- I should just say "heck"!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Take care!

Goshdarnit, SusanL, we can refrain from using freakin' profanity. I think those posts with lotsa cuss words are full of bulldoodoo. We gotta keep this mickeyfickeyin chat board good, clean and wholesome. Darnit to heck, I am on the crusade with you. We're gonna kick booty and take names on eliminating profanity.
