i dont know if this has been asked but i will ask it anyway.

I was in a atlanta in a mall a while back for the honda battle of the bands and i saw a group of guys hanging with their "sister" org. I say "sister" because they called their brother org. they all had they nice line jackets on i had never seen them before and i was wondering have any of you seen them before.

the guys were: Gamma Alpha Psi (gay) a gay male frat(soror as they call it) their colors were hot pink & purple

the females were Lambda Epsilon Sigma (les) a gay female soror (frat as they called it) their colors were baby blue and brown

they also had some "interesting" signs..they was crunk takin pictures with each other from different chapters...Yes there were diff chapters there

have you seen them

A gay fraternity that refers to itself as a "sorority"? That's appalling. This gender identification nonsense has gone waaaaaaay too far.

I have heard of a lot of different gay fraternities and lesbian fraternities and sororities, but I have never heard of those.

Some of the more popular ones that I have seen are Delta Phi Upsilon and Gamma Mu Phi for the guys and OEPi and Kappa Alpha Lambda for the girls, but there are many more.

No, Rudey, LGBTQ Sororities and fraternities are FAR from a "gay dating service."...Naturally, I speak from the point of view of my own organization. Feel free to visit the link from my signature.

*waves* Hey Senusret! Long time, no hear from, see, letter, smoke signal... ~tears~

Thanks for the lub, though!

This must have been during Gay Pride week ... that is quite a time in Atlanta, lol :) Never know what you're going to run into.

Anyway, no, I've never encountered those particular orgs. But if that's their thing, that's their thing. It's not hurting me, and at least they don't appear to be copying off anyone else.

I was going to call you this past weekend, but didn't your number change? PM me your new number!

I sent you my new number way bakck in the day when I was on the "Book". Anyway, I'll get it to you ASAP. I broke my Cingular (long story). I'm with T-Mo now. So, I need your number too!

Just as an FYI, I also would feel the same way about a co-ed organization. Just wanted to nip that in the bud before anyone thought to start anything. Either way, even if I don't understand it, it exists for a reason so more power to you.
