Snoop Dogg's Father Hood: Premieres December 9th

http://www.reuters.com/article/telev...27070120070714

Cameras will follow Snoop Dogg -- aka Calvin Broadus Jr. -- as he pursues his career, taking viewers into closed-door meetings and private recording sessions. They will also follow him in his roles as the founder of a youth football league and as dad to two sons and a daughter and husband to Shante.

"Snoop Dogg is, without a doubt, one of the most charismatic and intriguing personalities in pop culture today," Harbert said Friday at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. "While he has captured a legion of fans as the king of hip-hop, what makes Snoop most interesting is the side of him that people have never seen."

Although no one believes it, I really enjoyed his Doggy Fizzle Televizzle show, or whatever it was called.

They're gonna film a lot of it in various court rooms in L.A. County.

He sure is. There was a picture of him and his wife a couple of months ago in Paris, with pajamas, houseshoes and head scarves on walking down the street. I think of his wife as a married version of Kim Porter.

I won't even lie and say I won't watch, because he is a character indeed.

Oooooooooh I am soooo looking forward to this! I think Snoop is comical! I liked Doggy Fizzle Televizzle a lot, especially when he did a parody of Sway, the VJ from MTV with the ginormous head wraps.

I started to tell that lie, but you caught me. ;)

Please tell me you all have seen his latest video where he is channeling Roger Troutman and Prince and it looks like a 70's video? Me and Mr. Starfish was on the floor rollin. It's so un-snoop and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

Gina1201 11-29-2007 07:18 PM

Yes, I saw Sensual Seduction!! It was interesting to say the least.

whiteandblack 11-29-2007 08:47 PM

no, I won't be watching. I have that image of him and his two women dog-leashed.

FeeFee 11-29-2007 09:09 PM

I'll be watching his new show. It should be very interesting at the very least.

I just saw the commercial for this and could not believe it. I'll probably check it out.

Yes, girl, I saw that the other morning was like WOW (o)(o)!!
It's different, but Snoop has always been one to channel the 70's flashy, pimp-ish days *shurg*

FeeFee 12-03-2007 02:53 PM

I saw Snoop's new video last night.

Interesting is an accurate description.
