What are serenades?
 

Hey y'all. I'm from the Epsilon Lambda chapter and we don't do those "serenades" things. I've heard of them, like Fraternities sing serenades, or the sororities. I don't know, I'm not sure, someone help me out?

Also, if anyone knows where I can get a tape, or find out what the tunes are to some of the songs y'all have already posted, that would be great. Thanks, and I hope everyone is gearing up for recruitment!

I was a TKE Sweetheart (unofficial, of course) and the pledges sang "You've lost that loving feeling" to me, twice. Very sweet memory for me. Not sure why that song, though.

I thought serenade was like lemonade, but made out of serens? :confused::confused::confused:

My chapter serenaded the fraternities...at least once a semester! Back when we had "big brothers" we would dress up, go over to their houses and pick up our "Moonshiners" and take them out. Usually it was to pizza or maybe dessert or something....and we had a special Gamma Phi Beta song for serenading them. My sisters serenaded my husband with that song at our wedding!

It was a lot of fun and good PR with the fraternities.
