Who gives to the Educational Foundation?
I'll be the first to admit -- I'm far from rolling in cash. I do think, however, the mission of the Educational Foundation is important. Our fraternity's long-term success depends on the success of the mission of that Foundation.
That said, I've been donating $10/month for quite some time. Imagine the amount of work the Foundation could do if every alumnus just gave $10/month. I'd strongly encourage you to go to the website and sign up today. -- I tried to post the link, but it looks like that part of the site is down. I'll fix that when it comes back up. You can get a form from HQ by calling 540-463-1869. |
I donated to whatever that was that hit my email recently. Some little video, had a member from Texas Tech on it talking about how they went from 1 member to 40 members. And a member from some other chapter talking about something. I forget.

I donate what I can to Nationals. I also donate quite a bit monetarily and resources (stickers, banners, fliers, etc) to my chapter.

Kyle, your chapter has been around for quite some time. At Mu Tau, we're asking our alumni to donate $200/year each in order to participate in the Alumni Chapter (which is roughly what it costs to belong to most professional organizations).
We've had a decent response so far. Does your chapter have an active alumni chapter? |
I give about $10 a month and then joined the 1869 club for $75 while I was up at College of Chapters. ...as Kevin said, I definitely am not rolling in money (heck, if I didn't work 35-40 hours a week....anyways) but, yeah.

A few brothers in my chapter that became alumni recently comitted to the $200/year over 5 year program that we're pushing... most of the actives like myself are donating to our housing fund.
ODU is bouncing around the idea of bringing back greek housing on campus, and we want to have a nice sized war-chest to build a badass house. |
