Which school do you go to? I forgot http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/redface.gif and I was wondering which sororities are at your school.

Hi bucutie,
you probably wouldn't consider me strictly greek either since I am not in an American fraternity - but at least, I am in a fraternity and very proud of my guys

Well, I have never considered myself "greek" because I'm in a service sorority. I wear letters, I'm extremely committed and proud of them, but I personally have always felt the word greek was reserved for the social sororities (and NPHC, even though you guys are a lot more service http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif). I don't know. I know some of the other service people who post on this board consider themselves greek, but I guess on my campus at least, the definition is a little narrower.

I'm not greek. Although, I'm seriously thinking about alumni initiation after I graduate.

CutiePie2000 03-26-2001 09:56 AM

For the longest time, I was not Greek, but on March 16th, 2001, I became an alumna initiate, and so now I am Greek! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'm not Greek. However, I am a member of a social sorority at my university that is very similar to others. The only difference is that we're not part of the greek system.

MeezDiscreet 03-30-2001 04:54 AM

i'm not greek but i am REALLY looking forward to a status change

I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind
