UGA question about last year or this year
 

An ookazillian years ago when I went through rush, some of the chapters has us sit on the floor to watch skits. It was totally no big deal, and it just varied from chapter to chapter. Some had chairs; some didn't.

Does anyone still have people sit on the floor at UGA?

I ask because I was talking to a PNM about dresses, and she's considering a dress that while totally not too short to wear generally (standing up or sitting on a chair, it's perfectly modest), might end up being complicated to sit on the floor in because it's also kind of straight (the getting up and down more than the sitting might prove troublesome). It's really cute and cute on her, so it's hard to part with if it will work.

We did one time, but we had been planning to use chairs and ending up not doing it because our returns were so high and we didn't have room for everyone to sit in chairs in the room for the skit. I don't think the sitting on the floor happens a lot, but I know that I had to at two chapters when I went through recruitment... don't know if that was planned or if it was the same thing that happened for my chapter that one year.

Thanks for answering. That's the way I remember it although I seem to remember it being a higher number of chapters.

(I think she could play it safe, but it's kind of a shame. It's a cute dress.)

Anyone else know anything for sure?
