When you're reading a book, does time seem to slow down or speed up?
Time seems to go by a bit slower when I read, but it really depends on how much I'm enjoying the book.
|
Time usually flies by for me. I would be willing to swear most of the time I haven't been reading that long.
|
It seems up to speed up...the hours just fly by...
|
Time speeds up for me. I read most novels slowly, because I immerse myself in the story. I guess that's why The Secret Life of Bees and Nervous Condtions were such hard reads for me - I enjoyed the books greatly, but I just couldn't relate to the characters.

It doesn't make any difference.

Generally time seems to speed up, as I often get sucked into my books.
Unless I am reading something I dislike, then time slows down. |
It speeds up when I'm reading something fun ... but with some of the stuff I read for school, I think time actually goes backwards!

But yeah, it totally flies by for me when I'm reading. It's crazy. |
LOL -that's why I don't read before I go to bed! If I do, three hours will go by in a flash, and the next thing I know, I have to get up for work!
