Chestnut vs. Kobayashi Caeser's Payline...
ESPN says that Chestnut will beat Kobayashi for the Hot Dog Championships for the International Federation of Competitive Eaters...
I just find this hilarious. |
Kobayashi has injured his jaw a couple of weeks ago. So we'll see if that injury world hinder The Japanese phenom's chances at lucky number 7 in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.
|
Winner and new champion with 66 hot dogs...
JOEY CHESTNUT!!! I knew he's was going to win. He was that close to beating Kobayashi last year but slowed down in the last few minutes. But he's finally done it. |
My little IMed me and told me it was on, so I turned on JUST in time to see the barf-o-rama!!!!!
GROSS!!!! |
I amazed that Caeser's Palace in Vegas has a payline to it...
Well, the winner is not surprising. I am also amazed there is a "group" or "federation" for competitive eating. When did eating get "competitive"? Some people in the world starve... When will community service get competitive? Different topic, different thread. |

If you wish to "understand" or learn more, just do a search with the terms "competitive eating". |

And I completely agree. It makes me sick to think of the gluttony in America and that it's now considered a sport. How many people are starving in the world and America feels there is no better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a hot dog eating contest? (That was a generalization, I realize that many of you do not feel that way.) |
I was watching Today and the National Geographic Channel is going to have a special on competive eating Sunday night. And they had a guy who ate 12 donuts in one minute.

The rest I agree with. Even more so after reading some of the records. |
