Best KD Memory
 

So what's your best KD memory?

Mine is a toss up between getting my big and getting my lils. I know that's a typical answer, but they were probably the most special times in my whole college experience.

Aside from that, it was my Pref night. The fraternity brought us roses and serenaded us and it was just TOO perfect. Definitely great memories! :D

I have a few:

Preference Night--I cried my eyes out during the ceremony, and that's how I knew it was the place for me.

Emerald Ball my junior year--my sisters singing to me for my 21st birthday.

And lastly,

After college--my wedding and my sisters singing "The KD Lullaby" to me.

My unofficial "God-little" and I had a Make-Up Longwood once. Both of us were too busy to attend, so we ate Vietnamese food in cowboy hats. :)

I love this thread but I could never decide what to post in it. Getting my big? Getting my little? Initiation? Preference night? My candlelight when I got lavaliered?

Okay, it's a toss-up:

Back when this was allowed....we all made crazy hats for the pledges to wear at the house during White Rose Week. I made a completely dorky, so huge it was falling over Carmen Miranda hat with fake fruit on it for my little sis. (Okay, so you had to be there but it got lots of laughs.)

Initiation..enough said.

Having my "adopted big" fly across the country to spend time with me before initiation, and even making certain that I had special presents!

Being welcomed by a KD sister, who was a lifelong friend, as a sister!

getting my big has definitely been the best thing so far but running in a close second is the time me and my ex-twin played an awesome prank on the chi omegas
