ERASURE

Any of fans of Erasure out there? That group takes me back to my college days. Especially that song that goes "I'm so in love with you". I think its Respect but I could be wrong.

yeah I'm pretty sure that song is Respct. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif "...please refrain from breaking my heart...i'm so in love with you...i'll be forever true..."

I saw them in concert with New Order (Substance tour) in Sept. 87...

Cool. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif One of my brothers is French and he got me into them. I never saw them in concert though.

Big fan. I have about 8 mixes of that song. Long live file sharing.

My freshman year roommate was all about Erasure and listened to them constantly. They're not bad I guess...they grew on me a little bit. I couldn't name the titles of any of their songs, but I would probably know about 20 of their songs if I heard them again. Weird.

If you like ERASURE, you'll love a small Vancouver act called "Front and Centre"....they were a duo and they did a cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass"! It sounded just like ERASURE.

If you want to get their self-titled CD:
"Front & Centre - Front & Centre", I know they had it at HMV in Vancouver. You might have to specially order it, as they were relatively small potatoes, and I think they've disbanded now...but that CD was awesome!!!

FYI: I got this info from the HMV website on that CD....
Front & Centre - Front & Centre
Release Date: 1996-10-21
Catalogue Number: FRONTCD01
"THIS ITEM IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE. The manufacturer is currently not producing this item."
(Be persistent...you might be able to get it if you tell them it is a Vancouver band)

LOL Blondie-- On that note--first concert I ever went to was Blondie's Heart of Glass tour at the Aladdin Theatre of the Performing Arts in Las Vegas. I was, oh I think maybe 8 or 9 yrs old.
