Adding to your user name?

I have occasionally regretted that I didn't note that I'm alum in my user name.

Is there anyway to modify my user name without seeming like I'm doing something shifty by creating a new profile?

AlethiaSi 06-21-2007 10:03 PM

yea, my ID bothers me too, I would have like Nusiggirl or something else, but I think the only way to change it is if John does it.... idk everyone else would probably know more about it than I would.

Yes, the only way to change/modify your username is to PM John. He'll sometimes get around to doing it.

Don't hold your breath. I put in a request a few months ago and he hasn't even read the PM.

I have a PM to him complaining about someone that's over a year old that he hasn't read yet...sigh.

Remember, if you get a new user name, you lose your post count.

So, if some one is an Alum as opposed to being an Active is really no big deal or should be. You can put that in Your Signature!;)

You are still a Proud AGD Member no mater what!!!!:D

No you don't. I asked John to modify my username and the post count didn't change. And when I had to create a second account because my main account was temporarily disabled, when it got fixed all of my posts were merged.

I don't get what's funny about it.

I'm lame and easily amused. I thought it was kind of funny, b/c she would be getting a new sig and user name, and it would be Nusiggirl ... :p

No, you won't lose your post count. That's only if you REGISTER with a new name. If John changes it, you don't lose anything.

No, no, not making fun! Sorry, I didn't mean for it to be taken badly! :)

I see we can get a crapload of new signature rules, but people can't get their PMs responded to or their screen names changed.

Typical.

UGAalum94 06-23-2007 01:16 PM

What's the issue with post counts? Is it that you don't want to see like your brand new?

What is John's pm user name? (Or how do I send him one.)
