I have a General Question

I found this site a few weeks ago while doing my "research", but i finally decided to just post something.

I've already decided which BGLO I want to pursue. The only thing is i don't really know what else to do to show interest. I attend all of their events. I'm constantly doing my research, learning as much as possible about my school's chapter and the organization as a whole. But what else should I do?

There are other aspirants on my campus who are always in the members faces, trying to get cool with them, just to "gain a vote", but I chose not to go that route. I'm not like some of the aspirants on here who want to just go up and naively ask questions that they know you won't answer, making themselves look dumb. I chose to show interest the old fashioned way, and to do my own research to find the answers I'm looking for, but I don't want to know too much before pledging because I know that takes away from the experience. And I don't want to make it seem like I'm nonchalant about it either by not being all in their faces.

So any advise on what else I could/should do?

Would you consider any of the members your friends?

I'm pretty cool with a few of them, but only one on a friend level. The others I just speak to casually.

Then THAT's the one you need to talk to. If she's really your friend, you should be able to talk to her about your interest.

I'm a guy, but thanks. I just don't wanna seem like I'm trying to be his friend just to get into the organization. I mean, I'm not scared to talk to them or anything, I just don't wanna seem too anxious like some others.

My bad..... see, now THAT's discretion -- I didn't even know your gender, LOL.

Just be honest in your conversation with him and you'll be fine.

Thanks!

Are there any other suggestions besides talking to my friend about it?
