Joing Sorority
 

I'm starting school in january would it be possible for me to join a sorority at the same time seeing that they wont be able to know if i have a 3.0 GPA?

Does the school where you are attending have an organized formal recruitment in January or do they recruit in the fall?

New students can join based on a high school g.p.a.

You'll need to tell more about your situation for someone to advise you -- If you're starting in January and the sororities had recruitment in the fall -- the choices will be limited.

I doubt that anyone's going to be able to give you a definitive answer on this, because the answer is really dependant on what school you go to. If they have first semester formal for freshmen, then you could probably go through informal or COB. If they have 2nd semester rush due to needing first semester grades, then probably not.
