Burger King COmmercial
 

I was wondering if there are any comments about the a recent burger king commercial. Phi Alpha Zeta an 'all blonde' org is a featured; assumed, commercial group, portrays three sister eating BK's newest western burger, and it is then discovered that one of the sisters isnt a natural blonde.
At first thought, i considered the commercial just as an advertisement and not amusing in any way. I wasnt persuaded to buy a burger and I didnt laugh as i did with other commercials selling this same product. So i was wondering what anyone else thought, being apart of Greek life. Do you think this commercial is someones attempt to display their views on sororities?

Their commercials have been so weird lately that I don't think it's meant to be a comment on sororities.

yes, the ones with the big giant plastic guy who is supposed the be the burger king is just plain creepy. that guy could give small children nightmares.

I loved the commercials with the big plastic king and the football stunts he did...but wow that was...hella creepy

that was odd.... and comments on- nothing.

I'm surprised that their "sorority" wasn't Beta Kappa....

Not that I'd be thrilled with them using my chapter designation as their sorority...but you know...

I normally hide my eyes from their commercials, bc that plastic king freaks the hell out of me. I watched the commercial and thought my sound was off, but then they all screamed - and my cat jumped off the couch and ran.

Dang fake plastic freak king. *shudder*

I guess I'm alone, but the plastic Burger King is so entertaining to me! I love the football commercials, too, but I guess he doesn't fit in well in other scenarios, ie possibly standing outside of a sorority house watching 3 girls eat.

did anyone else notice the 2 blonde girls had mustaches too? or am i totally blonde too? literally I have seen the commercial before, but the mustaches on the blonde girls are so light.

anyway, i agree that the king is creepy. i make my husband change the channel whenever he is on.

I'll never forget in 2005 when a guy dressed up as the Burger King ran across the field during the homecoming game...he wore that outfit to pow wow, all around campus, and at a halloween party I went to that weekend.
