Best albums of 2007??
 

So far, i can't stop listening to the new modest mouse release, its great- so they get my vote. But on June 19th the new Mandy Moore Cd drops, and that might just change my mind!

Wow wait, viral marketing for Mandy fucking Moore? This is mind-bending really.

I guess this might be in earnest, though:

1 - Of Montreal, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
2 - LCD Soundsystem, Sound of Silver
3 - The National, Boxer
4 - The Clientele, God Save the Clientele
5 - Sage Francis, Human the Death Dance

Is it really? I've heard it was good but ever since those god awful Outback commercials I can't bring myself to listen to them anymore.

"The Sun and The Moon" by the new cd by The Bravery, is a pretty solid sophmore effort. I enjoyed it thoroughly.








I'd break Mandy Moore in half.

So far Linkin Park get my vote. Joss Stone is pretty nice as well.

I just love that the term "album" is being used!

I polled four 13 year olds who hate their parents, and Linkin Park was their choice as well.

There's some really good songs on it. there's actually a really good (albeit trippy as hell) video for "Heimdalsgate like a Promethean Curse" on youtube.
Sidenote: I heard a rumor that all the money they got for the commercial, they spent on props for their concerts and videos. So at least they aren't total sellouts.

Linkin Park wins hands down with the 17 and under crowd around here.

Good God, I don't understand how people listen to garbage like Linkin Park.

With that said, Page McConnell's new studio album is one of the best I have heard in a while. Blues, jazz, funk, groove...........its got it all.
