The money has been split, and they have gone their separate ways. But, who is watching the kids? Michael and Juanita Jordan are going to have to come together to get their sons in line. Jeffrey and Marcus Jordan are out of control. When is too much too much? How about when you drink so much you pass out in your own vomit? Or, when you are smoking illegal substances? Or even when you are bumping and grinding with the ladies and not doing your schoolwork? The activities of the Jordan Brothers have been caught on tape and pictures. Are the sons following in their father’s footsteps? Michael Jordan has been partying up a storm since he divorced Juanita. He chases young girls like there is no tomorrow. Juanita got $200 million from the divorce settlement, and she’s dating a new man. Can Michael and Juanita put aside their differences to reel in their sons? Someone will have to step in before it’s too late.

Vernon Winfrey has a lot to say about his famous daughter, and he plans to in a new book called Things Unspoken. A few weeks ago, Oprah’s dad spoke about her relationship with longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham. He says Stedman was nice, but he had nothing to offer Oprah. Reps for Oprah say she is shocked and disappointed about what her 74-year old dad is doing. Vernon Winfrey raised Oprah since she was a teenager, and he has said she was unruly and out of hand. Oprah has always credited her dad with teaching her discipline and the importance of reading. But, this is one book Oprah will not pick for her reading club. A lot of people have asked: was Oprah fighting with her dad? A few months ago, they traveled to South Africa together, and they appeared happy as father and daughter. At press time, “Papa Winfrey” started back peddling, and says: yes, he is planning a book, but not at this time. You have to admire the power of the “gangsta” in the Mighty O (smile)! I’m sure Oprah convinced him this was the better choice.

Eric Benet has found a new love, and she used to be married to Prince. Manuela Nelson was married to Prince for five years, and now she’s dating Eric Benet. They make a cute couple.

Pastor Mason Betha/Rapper Mase has a lot of explaining to do. On May 10th, he was involved in a car accident with his Land Rover. Mase was apparently traveling with some transvestites, and they were in the car when cops arrived. What is Mase doing with the trannies? He is currently in hiding. When Mase left the rap game, he was at the top of the heap. Then, he turned to religion and got married? Then he returned to rapping? What is happening with pastor? Will he ever talk about what is going on?

Apologies are in order for the Queen. Last week, I gave her too many husbands. Aretha Franklin is about to marry husband number three. The 65-year old singer is tying the knot with 59-year old former Detroit Fireman Willie Wilkerson. They have been dating on and off since 1987.

Ike Turner is speaking out about his recent false arrest. Ike Turner is 75-years old, and last week cops stopped him for speeding in his Mercedes. As the police did a routine check on Turner, they discovered a 1989 drug warrant and arrested him. Turner, the ex-husband of Tina Turner, had to spend a night in jail. Turner had no cot, no bunk and no blanket. He was cold and hungry. All he had was a bench to sit on and he kept passing out from exhaustion. When he fell on the cement floor, he injured his leg. Authorities wouldn’t let him use the restroom, and he only got a cookie and a banana. The next morning police realized they made a major mistake because the 1989 drug warrant was suspended. Ike Turner spent a night in jail for nothing. Is this the way you treat a senior citizen, the Father of Rock N’ Roll?

Congratulations to Janet Jackson. It’s official: she’s going to be Mrs. Jermaine Dupri. For her 41st birthday, Dupri gave her a 12 carat engagement ring. Check out Janet on the new issue of US Weekly, and this fall, she’s starring in Tyler Perry’s movie Why Did I Get Married with Jill Scott. Speaking of Tyler, his new TV show, House of Payne, premieres on the TBS network Wednesday, June 6th at 9pm.

Nicole Richie is being treated for eating disorders and substance abuse. She was rushed to rehab, and spent a couple of weeks there, after dropping to a shocking 83lbs!!

Actor Carl Wright has died. The veteran actor was best known for his roles in the movie Soul Food, Barbershop and Big Momma’s House. Wright was 75, and he died from cancer.

Former Heavyweight Champ “Smokin’” Joe Frazier wants to know where his money is, and he is suing his daughter to find out. Frazier is suing his daughter Jacqui Frazier-Lyde saying his money was misspent in a seven year period. Frazier-Lyde is in the running to become a Philadelphia municipal court judge.

Mel B is moving on from Eddie Murphy. Mel has a new love, a Hollywood film producer named Stephen Belafonte who produced Thank You for Smoking. Eddie Murphy has yet to take a DNA to determine if he is the father of Mel’s daughter Angel Iris. This Christmas, Mel is reuniting with the Spice Girls for a reunion and getting a cool million dollars.

Did Diana Ross shove a three-year old into a revolving door? Yes! But, it was an accident. Diana is on tour overseas, and she didn’t see the young toddler who was with her father. Despite the knockdown, the little girl is doing fine and no charges will be filed.

At press time, we received word that controversial Actor Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey’s Anatomy after all. Rumors were going around that someone was going to be fired from the show, and it looks like its “Dr. Burke.” Washington didn’t make many fans with his on set fighting and gay slurs. Actor T.R. Knight, who plays “George,” was outed by Washington by way of one of those on set verbal attacks. Knight is expected to be back.

Tyra Banks, who’s 33, says men her age are intimidated by her money. Banks says younger guys, the ones in their 20’s, appreciate her. Tyra Banks has turned into a one woman entertainment conglomerate with her talk show and America’s Next Top Model. Are men in their 30’s scared of Tyra?

Flavor Flav needs money, and he wants to cut a new deal with VH-1. Flav is no longer with the network. Greed got in the way, and VH1 cut him loose. Flav wanted to continue with the network, but he was asking for millions. The Flavor of Love was the highest rated show on the network. But, then came New York, and her show did better than Flav’s. Flav wants to pop up on the second season of I Love New York, but producers don’t know how he will fit in. Will New York accept him? Flav has a new baby, and he needs money. On Sunday, August 12th, he will be roasted on Comedy Central by his friends and colleagues.

Beyonce may be headed to Broadway next year starring in a revival of the Tennessee Williams classic Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Beyonce is in talks to play the role of “Maggie,” made famous by Elizabeth Taylor. LL Cool J is set to play the role of “Brick,” Danny Glover will play “Big Daddy” and Phylicia Rashad will play “Big Momma.” Debbie Allen will direct.

How is Bobby Brown doing since his divorce from Whitney Houston? Despite the support of his manager/girlfriend Alicia Etheridge, Bobby is still drinking too much. He was recently spotted at a Robin Thicke concert unaware of what was going on. Sources say he was out of his mind. He was all alone drinking by himself.

Most entertainers are not truthful about their age, and hot newcomer Singer Ne-Yo is no different. He recently had to fess up about his real age. He’s 27 not 24.

The Off-Broadway musical Mama I Want to Sing is being made into a movie. Ciara will star along with Patti LaBelle and Danny Glover.

The BET Awards are happening June 26. Mo’Nique returns as host. Special honorees include Actor Don Cheadle, who is getting a Humanitarian Award, and Diana Ross, who will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tracy Morgan has been added to the cast of the movie First Sunday. Ice Cube also stars along with Katt Williams and Actress Malinda Williams, who played “Bird” in the Showtime series Soul Food. First Sunday is about two robbers who try to rob a church and wind up getting stuck inside with the parishioners.

Is Oprah Best Friend Gayle King about to become a mommy again? According to published reports, King is considering adopting a child from South Africa.

Congratulations to Singer Mary J. Blige. Blige is getting the ASCAP Voice of Music Award at the 20th Annual Rhythm and Soul Music Awards.

The CW TV show Girlfriends is coming back for an eighth and possible final season. The show has not been the same since Actress Jill Marie Jones, who played “Toni Childs,” left the show. When the seventh season ended Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross) accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.

American Idol Judge Randy Jackson will be hosting and producing a new show for NBC. It’s a dance show looking for the best dancers in the country.

With the amazing success of Shrek 3, get ready for another installment. Shrek 4 is coming in 2010.

Get ready for the next big supergroup: TGT. Singers Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank are joining forces for the new group TGT. Look for a new album next year.

Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx is developing a new sports related show for the TBS network. The show may wind up on the 2008-2009 fall schedule.
