I just received the University of Kentucky Press catalog for Fall/Winter 07.
"Inside Greek U." will be published in October.

I know books are expensive (librarian here), but $40 seems pretty steep to me.

I'm a librarian, too.

It's a university press book, not a general trade publisher. The market is smaller and so are the print runs. And it's hardbound.

I wondered about that. I could see it as a textbook or "scholarly reading" book as opposed to one to read just for the fun of it.
