dear sisters of chi omega,

please excuse my intrusion onto your board, but i just wanted to say how excited we all are that chi omega will be colonizing at florida gulf coast university after fall 2007 formal recruitment. we are looking forward to adding a third npc sorority to the campus, and we ztas will do everything we can to assist in your success.

I didn't realize that Florida Gulf Coast was the chapter you advise -- how neat. Did you get to attend the extension presentations and such?

i was only able to attend the presentation by adpi-they did a great job. i hear that your sisters who made the chi omega presentation absolutely blew the audience away!! you all were the talk of the campus.

Our Vice President was one of the girls who went down to help the presentation out. (Psi Mu- UCF). We're super excited for a new chapter- so close by! It's great too because Theta Theta (USF) and us do activities together...so another chapter coming by so close will be amazing!!

I see the following from the website. I'm guessing Chi Omega will colonize following formal recruitment.

Recruitment Dates:
September 4th- Mandatory Orientation 9:30 pm - AB5 112-dress is casual, your picture will be taken tonight

September 5th- Event #1-Ice Water Party-9:00 pm-Student Union Ballrooms- Please arrive 30-45 min. early, dress is nice casual (no shorts, tennis shoes, or hats, jeans are acceptable)

September 6th- Event #2-Philantropy Night-9:00 pm- Student Union Ballrooms- Please arrive 30-45 min. early, dress is nice casual (no shorts, tennis shorts, or hats, jeans are acceptable)

September 7th- Event #3 INVITE ONLY-Skits and Sisterhood Night-6:00 pm-Student Union Ballrooms-Please arrive 30-45 mins early, dress is business casual (dress, skirt, nice blouse, slacks)

September 8th- Event #4 INVITE ONLY-Preference Night- 12:00 pm- Student Union Ballrooms, Please arrive 45-60 min. early, dress should be semi-formal (only skirts and dresses)

September 9th-BID DAY! 11:00 am-Eagle's Landing Activity Center, Please arrive 15-20 mins early (INVITE ONLY, dress is casual. )

I'm guessing this is the general thread for our recruitment so..

Only 19 days tills Rho Mu's very first recruitment! All of us are really excited and we're really working hard. I'll make sure to let you know how we do. Bid Day is Sep. 30th (if I remember correctly).
