What Democrat and Republican Would You Vote President Today?
 

Gentlemen,

How did you like the Democratic and Republican debates? Lol...I tell you the truth: I have been waiting to see what some of the more unknown candidates looked like.

If I had to choose one GOP candidate and one Democratic candidate today they would be:

Rudy Giuliani from the GOP because he comes from a very, very blue city and possesses pretty tempered views on all issues, especially abortion. I still think he is a RINO (Republican In Name Only).

Bill Richardson from the Democratic Party because he both comes from a very red state and possesses more diplomatic experience than everybody else.

I'm only looking at two individuals - - - Clinton and Obama. In fact, I attended a meeting for Obama on last night. However, I'm still not sure which candidate that I will support.

Obama. I'm signed up for his campaign.

I'm pulling for Obama vs. Romney in the Finals, with Obama winning by 6%.

I'm torn between Obama and H. Clinton.

I'd love to see Obama vs. Giuliani.

P.S. No matter who makes it to the end, it's gonna be interesting for sure next year. SO MANY issues on the table right now.

I agree. Whoever becomes president has a lot of cleaning up to do.

Did anyone see Romney on 60 Minutes last night. I know only what was presented last night but was not overly impressed. He seems like a nice guy but he was grilled about his change of political views over the course of years. He is now a member of the NRA, opposes abortion, was a moderate conservative but now is a self described conservative like Regan. Any thoughts????

I'm also torn between these two. I really didn't know much about Obama, but I saw him talking yesterday with George Stephanopoulos. It's nice to go with someone you are familiar with (Clinton), but it's also nice to have a breath of fresh air (Obama). I'm really torn.

I saw it, easily the "most presidential" candidate on either side. This isn't my thread so I won't get into anything else about his views.

Those of us from Illinois are very familiar with Obama and he's continued to be impressive. I personally appreciated the fact that he didn't get involved in a negative campaign when it would have been very easy to do so. Not sure how much non-Illinoisians followed his Senate race, but it was high quality and part of the reason he was invited to speak at the Convention (of course, he's also a great speechmaker)
