Very excited about this! I hope to buy it as a gift for my father. I may have mentioned that I have 6 legacies at Lambda Chi Alpha, all from Hanover in Indiana. My father, and my 5 uncles under various last names. They are the 'Theta Zeta' Zeta, this I know because I wear my fathers active pin with his lavaliere. Also the year I was born. Amazing things that pop up on Ebay. Really hope I get this!

On a side note this things look pretty cool, but I have a feeling the price will be out of my league in 9 days:

Anyone ever seen one of these?

I was wondering about that chartering stuff from Hanover, but i really couldnt understand what it was from the description listed, so I passed it up. As to this ring, it looks like me and Brother Mike have sank our teeth into yet another item of interest to both of us........(I too was looking at the Fez), but we will just have to wait for another 10 days to see where the chips fall.

Already out of my league. You guys jump quick, went from 10$, to 100$.

I think we need an Ebay thread. :) I always forget that these threads go off on tangents, I am guilty of this.

I was wondering the same thing, though I have a vague memory of what its referring to. I need to go ask our Phi. Perhaps one of guys here would enlighten me as well.

Congratulations! A Nice item. Very unusual. I have not seen one of these in over 40 years of collecting. Take care of it and pass it on someday to a place that will appreciate it.
