Spidey Shatters Records With $148M
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Spider-Man caught just about everyone in his web. The superhero's latest adventure, "Spider-Man 3," smashed box-office records with $148 million in its first three days, according to studio estimates Sunday. That put it ahead of the previous record debut of $135.6 million set last summer by "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."

What has everyone thought about this movie so far? Some of my brothers and I are going to go see in in iMax tomorrow.

It was okay...definitely not as great as I was hoping for. It was REALLY long, and I found Tobey MacGuire more dopey in the role this time than before. My boyfriend, who is a huge comic book fan, wasn't really that impressed either.

148M? WOW.
i dont think the #s will be that high next weekend - i havent heard anything that great about it. my friend promises that we play drinking games to it when it comes out on DVD. |
Is every really sick of hearing about this movie -- or is it just me?

I fell asleep. The only thing funny to me was Tobey Maguire dancing. He has NO rhythm at all and looked like a complete dork to me.

The movie was painfully long. I'm one of the biggest spiderman dorks out there, but this movie just sucked.

So since its closest rival was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest, does anyone think that the next PotC will out do Spidey 3?????
What are yalls predictions on this |
