Fraternities/Sororities on Television

Okay, I looked and I looked but couldn't find this topic anywhere.

I noticed something odd in the last couple of weeks. On the show "Brothers and Sisters", the youngest brother, Justin, wore a shirt with the letters for Sigma Gamma Theta. This past Monday, on the show "How I Met Your Mother", the character of Marshall wore the exact same shirt. The shirt featured a crest with Sigma and Theta written as their greek symbols, but the Gamma was written as a "G".

On "Boston Legal" last night, the episode featured a lawsuit from a sorority member who was kicked out for being 'socially awkward' (a la the notorious DePauw case). The officer from the sorority, Gamma Kappa Tau, was very stereotypical.

This week's episode of Entourage has a plotline about an old fraternity brother visiting Ari.

You're right... it's weird that they're all being shown THIS week..!

(BTW, if you have Tivo, set fraternity and sorority as Keywords to see all the shows with greek plotlines.. )
