New England Patriots

Well, after this weekend's draft, I think it is safe to say now that not only does the best fraternity in the world come from Massachusetts, but so does the best professional football team (again).

The only thing to make this better would be to make Tom "Man-Crush" Brady a LXA. Come to think of it, do you think we could trade Mark Brunell's status for Tom Brady becoming an honorary LXA?

Also, just for your information, we have several LXA's in very influential roles throughout the NFL. For example, Mike Tannenbaum, the GM of N.Y. Jets, is a LXA from Gamma Zeta. Great guy by the way, even though he is from the rival Jets, who actually will be pretty good this year.

GO PATRIOTS!!!

Nice to know about Mike Tannenbaum. My question to anyone is, what other LCA alumni that are famous or in positions of recognition that are not widely known. There is a list on wikipedia that has quite a few members, what about the ones not on there? I did a search for Mike Tannenbaum and Lambda Chi alpha on google and came up with nothing, not that I don't believe you. It makes me think there are quite a few other well known brothers out there that haven't made the celebrity list.

Yeah, there are quite a few I'm guessing that haven't been recognized. Mike is the one I bring to the table. He really should have some mention somewhere, being the GM of one of the NFL's up and coming teams. Other LXA's have been recognized for doing a lot less in their fields.

I used that in my Kappa trivia report tonight. We have a guy whos from Jersey, huge hometown boy, wont shut about about Jersey. He had to think about who the GM was but he finally got it, had no idea he was a LCA.

Thanks
