Are you doing it from Greekchat? John may have had to put in controls because we were just terrorized by the Klan...

Or, I got an PM from some Klan whore... It was rather interesting to me.

Soror,
If you edit your post and redo the link it will work. You accidently put Http:// in there twice. I was able to go after I did that.

Excellent

The NC Advisor for the NAACP Youth and College Division (AKA Gina Pettis Dean) called me on yesterday to ask me to serve on a panel regarding this initiative at the state conference. Personally, I think this is a wonderful campaign. I'm not sure if today's youth understand the struggle or what AA and many others overcame so we can have opportunities today. My comments at the state conference will focus on the "N" word, i.e. what ie meant and what it now means.

What is interesting about this campaign is that it is promoting the overall upliftment of African American girls and women. The thought is if girls and women are lifted up, so will the boys and men. Basically, support for mothers from womb to tomb... Better health care: both mental and physical, will improve childhood educations and whole host of things.

And I don't think it can be implemented because these young people into gansta rap/dirty south hip hop could care less about anyone, much less themselves... But, hey, I could be surprised.
