Fun thread!
I thought that we could start posting questions to get to know each other a little. I figured I would try and see if people like it. So here goes!
Undergrad Chapter: Alpha Nu Year pledged: Fall 1993 College: Central CT State University Graduated: December 1996 Alumae Chapter: Nutmeg Fun question of the week: Is there anywhere on campus where your chapter or where all greeks claim for themselves? There was a rock on campus, where we would paint and protect. If I can scan the picture in, I will. |
Fun idea!
Undergrad Chapter: Alpha Psi Year pledged: Fall 1997 College: Southeast Missouri State Graduated: May 15, 1999 Alumae Chapter: None around here... :-( Fun question of the week: Is there anywhere on campus where your chapter or where all greeks claim for themselves? Greek hill is home of the campus group housing, where most of the greek houses are located. There used to be a facility just for greeks located at the top with a cafeteria, a computer lab, and other facilities. It has since been torn down. Our greek houses are small dorms divided in half, a GLO occupying each side. Kind of like a duplex of rooms, with about 30 or so able to live-in in each chapter. The university also owns two other houses that are outside of Greek Hill, Greystone and Shivlebine, and they are more like classic greek houses. When I was on campus (lived a year in the Gamma Phi house), the greek houses were in bad repair. There was not enough wiring for air conditioning and not updated since the 70's. Recently though they have been all redone and look nice. Gamma Sig didn't have a house when I was at Southeast. :-( So we used facilities all over campus. Here are some pictures of Greek Hill. These are Pike and ADPi but you can get a picture. :-) http://www.semo.edu/tour/images/VT_GreekHousing.jpg http://www2.semo.edu/adpi/images/pic...Pics/group.jpg |

Year pledged: Spring 1998 College: Georgia State University Graduated: December 2003 Alumae Chapter: Atlanta Metropolitan Fun Question: There is a "Greek Row" of sorts on the 4th floor of our Student Center where the Greeks have their suites. I'm hoping to see GSS get one! |
