Jim Morrison

I've heard Jim Morrison was once associated with Lambda Chi. I found where he went to FSU for a year and then transferred to UCLA where he graduated. Has anyone else heard of this or know anything about it?

I've heard of it and I doubt its veracity.

At the very least he could have written a song about us!

From what I've heard he was a pledge before we were associates but never was initiated. I do not know any truth behind it, however.

Guys, seriously...I know because I'm a brother...He was!

So was John Kay from Steppenwolf, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin, Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, and Chester from Linkin Park...It's in my ritual book...I SWEAR!

EDIT: Since some people don't "get it," add Spiderman, Beast from Xmen, Strawberry Shortcake, and Tron from Chappele's
Show
to the list of famous Lambda Chi's.

In ZAX,

In ZAX,

I thought that the guys from Steppenwolf were not LCA's.

Dude......DUH

Give me a break - you get an F for the day...

Tom Earp 04-25-2007 03:14 PM

If any of the above mentioned, I will say, it is truly news to many of us!

Ottor 246 04-25-2007 03:44 PM

I heard that John Kay was actually cloned by an insane escaped Nazi scientist who combined Warren Cole's DNA with Jack Mason's.

No, really!

Also, George Washinton, Julius Caesar and John the Baptist.

And Moses was a TKN.

Sigh.... The myths about Trent Reznor and the Linkin Park guy don't get passed around my chapter. And its pretty much common knowledge that Steppenwolf was not in LCA, however the comments from that C&C article are quite interesting. The one where the guy got challenged backstage by the band. I don't put too much stock in it though. Meh...

But that really is true about Spiderman. Have you ever noticed the sign he makes with his hand when he shoots a web? It can't be a coincidence!

Jim Morrison was born in Melbourne, FL, home of Beta-Nu Zeta. And that's about the ONLY connection with Lambda Chi Alpha you will find.

And, don't forget about Chef from South Park. He was very influential at the South Park College chapter. And Homer Simpson, unfortunately he was expelled due to some serious hazing charges.

Strawberry Shortcake???? What chapter initiated a female, or is she secretly a guy?

My chapter actually had a Brett Favre rumor. A lot of us said it was a totally bogus claim, but a select few (Alex, you moron!) insisted and even put it on one of the UTEP rush brochures. It was hilarious when our ELC, Mike Cooperman, came down later that year and heard it mentioned. He gave everyone a weird look and said, "The college he went to doesn't have a chapter."

Rumors are always better than the truth!:D

Heck, we have enough Famous Brothers to say the very least and only a small part are listed on Our International site.:(
