Just wondering (3) Part question
(1) If a new chapter is on campus, just this year being RSO is it considered a Greek Orginization. This is the only Chapter in the Nation, newly formed last year.
(2) If a young lady rushes this orginization and pledges and joins and then leaves can she rush other soroities in the fall or is that it, meaning she is not eligible to join another for life?:( :( (3) Is it advisible to even think about joining another one? |
what is a RSO?

Registered Student Organization, is my guess.
If you pledge or initiate into a non-NPC group, yes, you are still eligible to join an NPC group. Whether or not your campus culture is okay with that is another story. I think in many cases, if the local could not provide what you were looking for, and you attempted to join an NPC group instead, the NPC group would understand, especially if the first group's shortcomings were things that only a national organization, or at least a strong local history, can provide (i.e. alum support, RM policies, etc.). I can't speak for NPHC, or other locals, though. |
