VA Zeta
I received the following email today...
Here is an update on the situation at Virginia Tech. Two of our members were wounded in the shooting that occurred on campus this morning. A.C., has a chest wound. She has had surgery to insert a breathing tube, but the bullet has not been removed. Her family and the AAC chair are with her. She is stable at this time. E.H. has a small head wound. She was glazed by a bullet. She has received stitches. Her family and an AAC member have been with her. The Chapter President has been amazing. She has accounted for every chapter member and she did it very quickly. She has been a true leader. She has called a chapter meeting tonight. AAC will be at the meeting. There will be counselors at the chapter house tomorrow. This has been arranged through a HC member. Please pray for A.C. and E.H. and all our VA Tech members and for the families who lost their children to this terrible event. |

As a pi phi at VT we really appreciate your prayers for us and our community

from the national website:
The members of Pi Beta Phi send our love and support to the members and alumnae of our Virginia Zeta chapter at Virginia Tech. Like most of the students at Virginia Tech, our chapter members have been directly touched by the tragic events on April 16. The Fraternity also extends sympathy to the families and friends of the victims and to the entire Virginia Tech and Blacksburg community |
Love, hugs, thoughts and prayers to Virginia Zeta. Pi2, do you know if there is any type of fund set up to help with medical or other expenses for the injured sisters?
|
Please keep us updated. We are praying for all of you.
