Sisterhood Party Outfits
Hey y'all, we are trying to come up with cute outfit ideas/themes for our sisterhood party. It's always our weakest party and we need some help. Please help us out by giving us some new ideas for outfits and themes! Thanks so much!!!

It would be helpful to know what themes you have already used and not found successful.

well we've never really had a theme that we can use from year to year and that's what we're looking for. One of the sororities on campus does "Air ________" and then their sorority name and they all dress as flight attendants. It's a really cute idea and it's something that they can use from year to year and build on. Last year we did a scrapbook theme, it was okay but nothing special. We all also wore turquoise and brown dresses from American Apparel. These were really cute but did not flatter some girls. When I went through recruitment the theme was "ZTA fun in the Carolina Sun" and the year before that it was "Camp ZTA."

Whatever theme you go with, make SURE that you find something that looks good on everyone...girls of different sizes don't look good in the same styles. I know you could go with a sports theme...the Phi Mus here have baseball style jerseys in different colors that look good on every single one of their girls...that and nice looking jeans and cute hats or something...but that might be too casual.

Since you're ZTA, why not do a Royal theme? All your sisters come dressed like royalty! You can have it be as casual or dressy as you'd like. It'd be kinda nice to see girls in their casual clothes and wearing crowns though. Or try to pick a theme that best represents who your sisters are and what is important to your sisterhood. If your chapter is comprised of women with many ethnic and cultural backgrounds you should celebrate that. Have a "Zeta World" theme where you have different types of foods from different countries, play music from countries and have your sisters dress in traditional clothing of their background. We had a dinner like that during RA training a couple years ago, and it was so much fun and really interesting to learn about everyone's heritage and traditions.
