Sanction Causes Severe Budget Woes (U. Missouri - ATO)

The local paper in Columbia, Missouri, reports that a disciplinary sanction is having a severely adverse effect on a fraternity chapter's budget:

Tenth sanction - no throwing furniture into the lake for three years.

I never quite understand why a group that is already on some type of probation or sanction would do something this stupid.

Maybe they feel that they can and are that stupid!
Many feel that they have been there so many years and have so many Alums who will bail them out that they have a get out of jail free card!

They do not understand that this is a new era and schools are not going to put up with this ignorance.

They are lucky criminal charges were not filed and they do jail time.

Me too. And it makes you understand why either the GLO or the college then has to do something really drastic.

Maybe you want to refresh that as as saying they should have stepped sooner?

If this has been an ongoing situation, then it is a problem.

Who does it affect, it affects ATO and all of us.:o
