Delta Theta is having IRD at the chapter house April 14th, and Delta Beta is having IRD at their house April 21st. Usually UI and WSU have their Mom's weekends on opposite weekends, which is the reason I am assuming we haven't had IRD together since I've lived here. The House Corporation meeting is after IRD, so that's convenient if you have traveled from out of town.

Next year IRD at Delta Theta is also the 50th anniversary celebration, and Delta Beta will have been at WSU for 85 years (though I am not sure if they are combining celebrations).

Michigan's IRD was wonderful, as always! It was great to see everybody again and to feel the Alpha Gam love. Two of the CAs almost made me cry because they were sad that I wouldn't be their AC anymore. I reassured them that their new PD and AC are great women and that the AC was MY mentor coming up and they will love her.

The Alumnae Club/Chapter that hosts IRD always has a raffle with proceeds that go to the Foundation. The Chapter that hosted this year has a member who finds more red, buff and green stuff than anybody I've ever seen. One collegian won a red, buff and green rain slicker!!! Anyway, the food was great, the sisterhood was strong and it was a perfect IRD.

Toronto IRD was yesterday (April 21) and it was AMAZING! This spring, we initiated five baby squirrels! Tau is much, much bigger than it was a few years ago. When I first intiated, our chapter total was around 20. We're in the 30s now!

The food was great (choice of chicken stuffed w/ feta, potatoes and veggies, salmon, rice and veggies or vegetarian (pasta, as always) and a yummy dessert) and we had lots of fun. I sat with two alumnae around my age (had I gone been a collegian at U of T, I would have been in AGD around the same time as these girls.) and alumnae who were Alpha Gams in the 80s.

We were told that U of T Panhel is moving towards a partially structured recruitment system this fall.

My area has three chapters get together and only a handful of alumnae attend... do you all have any ideas on how to get more alumnae involved and make IRD less painful for the chapters to have to be there?
