Hi Everybody, I just posted a thread on the Greek Life forum and not only did it get booted, but all subsequent threads that i posted. I am tired of censorship, sure my first post was extremely provocative, but that was the point. I offered to sell PDF copies of Rituals to see what kind of reaction would come about, and to see how ling it would take for it to be erased.

Now I am pissed at the MODS and want to to know why i cant have the freedom to express myself anymore. What is America coming to?

I am generaly displeased with you, theset74, I thought we were in agreement that you would stop posting Ritual related stuff when I didn't delete your last post in chit chat.

I did you a courtesy, and yet you come back later and not only break our tacit agreement but actually argue about it when you know full well what the Rules of the site are.

Do you have no sense of honor? Or are you someone else using this user name?

ETA: Feel free to continue posting on greekchat as long as you don't ost about Ritual stuff.

I guess it would help if I knew what or who WPTW was.....possibly a Mod or something.......I am sorry to see that you didn't have some snappy retort.....I was actually looking forward to it.........you are the type of person I love messing with because at least you aren't afraid to snap back at me....it truly does put a smile on my face even if I dont agree with you :cool:

Actually I am his Big Brother James.......he went to work and left GC up....so i thought I would help him out......I guess I didnt know the whole situation and got carried away on his name.......thats my fault....I actually wasnt trying to solicit for rituals.......i was going for the reactions from the people.

You can't whine about your threads being deleted when part of your goal was to see how long it would take for them to be erased. And for the record, I deleted your threads. I have zero tolerance for trollish posts in the forums I moderate.

This is a private message board. You're required to register, accept, and adhere to the Terms Of Service before you're allowed to post here. We at GreekChat have what's called 'freedom of association' which allows us to determine which posters we wish to continue to allow to participate in our community. We make these decisions based on standards this community has set for itself. Moderators can and will censor inappropriate posts.

First and foremost, Ritual is considered sacrosanct insofar as these ceremonies embody the very core of our respective organizations. Few if any members here would approve of their Ritual being treated with such indifference to its importance. I'm not one of them.

Second, moderators exist under dispensation from the site's administrator for the purpose of maintaining this community's standards. Moderators are not required to ask, warn, or explain before or after they exercise their authority. If you can't live with that, go post somewhere else.

Third, even after a thread has been removed from public view, it can still be reviewed by some or all of the moderators (depending on the manner in which the thread was removed from view) and by the administrator. In cases where it's clearly warranted, failure to comply with the TOS can result in a user's account being banned.

All of that having been said, if you're willing and able to contribute in a positive manner to this BB community without violating our community's standards, we welcome you to these forums and look forward to your hearing what you have to say.

Yes there will be problems on any open site and we all have Problems, but, We will struggle through it!:)
