Need help--New to board

I could not find an appropriate place to post this. I did look for these directions. How does one post a photo on the board? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If it's a photo from your computer you want to post, you'll need to upload it online first. If it's just one photo, I suggest tinypic.com . Photobucket.com is also a free online locker. After you upload, copy and paste the tags starting and ending with [IMG] [/IMG] into your post. The stuff that goes in between the tags is the URL.

If it's a photo from somewhere else online that you want to post, right click, get its URL from Properties, and then copy and paste between the IMG tags.

Some moderators don't allow hotlinking in their forums, but the majority of them don't care.

Thank you. I have some photos in photobucket, which I use on my football fan page. This process is a bit different. I do appreciate the help!

Webshots has quite a few photos of sorority houses. Once I learn how to do this, perhaps I can post some houses that have not been shown.

Again.....thanks for helping a newcomer!

Tom,
This is not spam. I am only attempting to post a legitimate photo. Your directions have been followed. However, what happens in the reply box is the list of letters is shown, but no photo. I have struggled with this and know I am doing something incorrectly.
Webshots has a system that allows sharing or not sharing of photos. These photos are all marked for sharing. I am not taking any copyrighted photos.
If you have any more ideas about what I am doing wrong, please advise.
Thanks.
Fan
