So Ethanol is no better than Gasoline for the enviroment?
 

Interesting little study that was just completed up here shows that ethanol doesn't "burn cleaner" than gasoline - sure it's carbon monoxide emissions are lower, but other greenhouse gas emisions are actually greater.

Besides that bit of info, also lost in the hype is the fact that taking corn out of the food chain will increase food costs.

And even if all the corn is diverted to ethanol, it would replace something like less than 10% of all gas/oil use....
