Formal Recruitment Help!
 

This year for formal recruitment, we are doing a "The Perfict Fit" theme. We are using a Victoria Secret type theme to tie it in. Has anyone ever done a theme like this before? If so, do you have pictures? If not, do you have any ideas?

Never done a theme like this.... but for outfits you could do what VS's does for their sales people.... something like 95% black dressey clothes. (If your school really goes all out then maybe say black pants suits or skirt suits.) Then have all the sisters wear measuring tapes around their necks. Then all wear pearls. Simple, fits the theme, and is classy.

Just an idea... not sure how good it is.

A couple of years ago, my collegiate chapter had black recruitment t-shirts that on the front just said "Recruitment 200?" and on the back had a pink & white shopping bag that looked like ones from VS that said "Tri Sigma Secrets...wouldn't you like to know!" They're actually pretty cute...just shoot me a PM if you want me to email you a pic of the shirt!

I saw ones like that on greek101 and they were VERY cute!

Yet again.. not sure how "frills" your school is, but maybe see if a VS would donate some shopping bags and put vases of cut flowers or plants in them. Simple and cheap, but carries the theme well. It would be a tax write off to the store, and cheap/ free advertising. Product placement and all that.

Maybe do dark pink and light pink colors in napkins and foods. For example do cookies with rasberry centers maybe. Of course if you do food you should get little round tables (like the ones VS's uses for sales) and cover them in pink fabric.

Dani- any chance you could give us some direction here? How much can you spend? How "OUT" does your school go for frills? Do you have to do a skit or anything? Food?

On facebook I saw pictures of a sigma chapter that did a VS theme. All the girls wore pajamas or a sweat suit from the VS Pink line. It looked so cute! Their decorations were lots of pillows, etc...not sure how it ties into the "perfect fit", but it does def. help with the VS theme.
