SK Triangle
 

I figured I'd start this thread as a place for us to discuss any and all aspects of the SK Triangle, past and present. I'll start!


I just received my issue of the current Triangle yesterday. I must say that I loved it! It was great seeing articles and pictures from the past. I also really LOVED that article about the $1219.75 drink. Truly funny but very informative. Also, if you look at the top picture on page 22 (Gamma Theta chapter), the adorable lady in the middle with the bright green shirt was my former roommates lil sis during her senior year. It's been a while since I went alum yet I still am in constant contact with these ladies and they even attended my wedding. I love seeing friends, sisters, and women I met a few times yet still recognize when I open up the Triangle. It's awesome!
The chapter on the initiation of Susan Eisenhower as well as the ladies of the Kappa Lambda chapter was great. I smiled when I read how she asked them to address her as Susan b/c sisters should be on a first-name basis. Very classy.

Honestly? I would LOVE to have one of every issue of the Sigma Kappa Triangle from its inception through today. I think it would be just awesome to have put away in my home. I wonder if there's a way to do it? Probably not but still, it would be neat.

I just got my new one in the mail today. I started giggling when I saw the reference to GreekChat in one of the articles.

Really? I just got mine in the mail but don't have time to read any of it. What page is it on?

Over I thought the issue was a really good one and really emphasized something that I think needed to be...Values.

I'm really interested in this Values based recruitment and how it will change what we know of recruitment today.

I looked but the new one wasn't up there, did they sneak it up on me?

In continuing our conversation about the SK Triangle, it was what gave me away as a Rho Gamma to one of my PNMs during recruitment. She googled "my name +sorority+maryland" or something like that and bam, a close up pic of me from Memory Walk with my roomie in my letters (as if being featured in the SK Triangle wasn't obvious enough). I do believe she kept quiet about it though, because some other girls admitted they tried googling me and facebooking me and found nothing.

Yay! New SK Triangle came today! BZ represent in CFC and Field Consultants!

I haven't received my new one yet but the mail hasn't arrived yet this morning. I'll look for it later.

I have resolved to start saving every SK Triangle from now on. This current issue will be the 2nd in my collection. I could kick myself for not saving all the ones from the past. Oh well.
