Wow guys, I can't believe I get to say this...

On Thurs., my boyfriend of 5 years (Pat) and I landed in Belfast, and we crashed hard at like 6PM. We woke up at midnight and couldn't sleep, so Pat and I went for a walk around Queen's University of Belfast. As we got around the main building, he started talking about how much he loved me and all that, and then...

He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

And I said YES.

I'm so excited and happy and I can't wait. The ring is beautiful...it's my grandmother's diamond in a different setting. Apparently, everyone's known about this for AGES except me! Damn my family for being able to keep a secret.
