Specifically Casa Grande.

There are a lot of teaching jobs opening up and for some reason I'm oddly attracted.

Have you seen the pay scale?
I looked into the greater Phoenix area. Starting salaries were about 32, maxing out at 40, maybe 48 with a master's degree after 15 years.
As a plus, they are much nicer about reciprocity than many other states I've looked at.
