Hillary: 'Take that, Iran'
"I turn off a light and say, 'Take that, Iran,' and 'Take that, Venezuela.' We should not be sending our money to people who are not going to support our values."--Hillary Clinton

WOW, a post that so far has not stirred of crap!
I do not care for the H, but someone has to make a stand! |
She sorta has a point, albeit a very small and slim one, but a point nonetheless.
Many of the regimes or national administrations that are none too friendly to the US are propped-up by energy sales directly or indirectly tied to the US ~ lowering energy consumption lowers the cash-flow... although obviously you'd need more than one person turning off one light. However energy conservation is only half of a 'solution', because the fact that many friendly nations are also heavy energy trading partners with the US (which seems to have escaped Hillary's mind) - you need to be both energy conservative and limit trading (directly or indirectly) with those nations deemed 'hostile' to the US or it's allies. |
I guess it boils down to You do not buy your friends, just make enemies!
