"LICO" Chi-O

Hey girls! My sisters and I are wondering what "LICO" exactly stands for? We've heard many different things. Can someone please clarify this for us?
Thx!

My best guess is Love in Chi O.

We often use LISK for Sigma Kappa, so I'm gonna assume it's the same thing. :) If a Chi O would like me to take this down, let me know but I don't see it as private.

My chapter didn't view it as a private thing, and for us it was like Drolefille said..."Love in Chi Omega." It is possible that it varies in some chapters though - much like chants, etc tend to do!

It's actually "Loyally in Chi Omega".

Some folks may think/use "love", but you'll see lots of "official" letters signed "Loyally in Chi Omega" so that's what it started as.

(Though I'm no history buff...NutBrn? :p )

I think you'll find official correspondence from the HQ or National Representatives signing letters "Loyally in Chi Omega," but when I see LICO, I always read it in my mind as "Love in Chi Omega," since it's usually the sign off for a casual note between chapter members. Most every group has some version of this. When I was an undergraduate, my chapter always signed things, "Love in the bond," and no...it was never abbreviated LITB!
