NPC Badge Day

I biffed Badge Day big time. I've spent the last 3 days at home with 2 sick kids. Made it out early this morning for 5 minutes round trip for coffee and then a quick post-bedtime grocery run. No NPC pride to be shared by me today.:(

The good news is that I always have my Theta license plate frames on my car (a real rarity in these parts).

How'd everybody else do?

I'm actually really proud of myself for wearing my badge and badgewear all day. I'm a Geology Major, and I'm taking 27 hours worth of class and lab a week this semester, so it's hard for me to get dressy just to go play with rocks, but I did it today!

I wore my badge yesterday. It actually worked out well because I had to dress up anyway for a presentation and stay that way that afternoon/evening to go and pick my patients for today....So I wore My badge all day. I even got asked about it and got to explain NPC badge day, what NPC is, and about Kappa Alpha Theta :)

Well I am very delayed in my reply, but I did well on NPC Badge Day. It helps that it always falls on a Monday.

As a chapter advisor, I attend a fair number of Monday night chapter meetings. Even though my company is quite business casual, most Mondays during the school year I am in 'badge attire' since I head to the chapter meetings straight from work. Normally I just keep my badge in my purse during the day. I then put it on during the stop & go traffic between my office and the college. (I know, I know, not the safest way, but at least I am being honest with y'all!)

In the interest of driver safety and Theta pride, I may start wearing my badge all day when I know I'll be at a chapter meeting in the evening...you will all have to help me remember!
