hand signs

so i'm down visiting my friends school in florida and she's a ZTA. and when they take pictures a lot of their girls make a crown w/ their hands.. and they can do it with another person as well. and i noticed the tri delts make a triangle.. the adpi's make a diamond and kd's and dg's have one here as well.. DOES DPHIE HAVE ANY HAND SYMBOL WE CAN MAKE IN PICTURES?!?!

Not officially--but if you want to make one up, go for it and post it here!

My only advice would be that it has nothing to do with our mascot being a unicorn.

What? Your index finger sticking out of your forehead wouldn't be a sexy handsign for pics??;) :)

Alpha!!!! Actually just saw some nice Sigmas doing a handsign I had not seen before. I don't think any of our chapters have any.

I thought I had seen pictures somewhere of the St. Johns University D Phi E's making hand gestures... but I don't know if I can find them again.

It would be really cool to have hand gestures... It would cool for us to step and stroll, too... but I am getting too old to come up with anything that would be unique... Not to mention the fact that it is a traditionally NPHC type thing to do, so I am not sure how accepting they'd be of us following suit. LOL

You'd have to be very careful not to have your thumb sticking out to the side:

Not DPhiE worthy, I'm thinking. :D

In the Delta Iota chapter we do the two finger sign like you see in the Alpha Epsilon picc. Also we've tried to start up the strolling, take a look : http://www.facebook.com/video/video....?v=53664068601

Throwing the D

Don't know if it has to do with the area... but we throw the D here. Just make a delta with your hands though we have a special way of doing it. I don't have a good picture of it to upload, but if you make two fingers on each hand (like the number 2, rabbit ears, with your index and middle finger), we lay our middle fingers one over the other, and our index fingers touch to make a delta. Sometimes two sisters will do it together.
