Aunt's Whipping of Boy in Class Investigated

"The last time [the student's] mom had been called to the school, she warned that the next time she was called to the school, she was going to give him a whooping in front of the entire class," Reitan wrote in the e-mail. "That is precisely what the aunt did. . . . She had [him] stand in the middle of the classroom before all his classmates. He was told to pull down his pants and his underpants. He was then beaten with a belt by his aunt."

It was unclear what precipitated the whipping.

Wow, that's straight old school...

I applaud the effort, but question the method.

To say the very least.

I wonder what the reason was..

i think this is crazy. while i am ALL for parents/guardians whoopin that tail when need be, there is a time and a place for everything. i bet he won't act up in class anymore tho!

unfortunately, it sounds like instead of the other kids being shook enough to not try anything, they are crying to THEIR mothers and those mothers are complaining to the school.

Good for the Aunt. :)
