Rat party in a NYC KFC
 

Anyone hear about or see the video of a KFC in New York that was infested with rats? ew.... I'm glad I have learned to cook more and eat at home.

I saw it on the news yesterday. They actually gave a warning before they showed it that you wouldn't want to watch it if you had a weak stomach or fear of rodents. I glanced at the TV and it was pretty gross.

It actually was a KFC/Taco Bell. As if you had to convince me any more that TB is nasty.

LOL. I saw this on my local news and I couldn't even finish what I was eating I was so grossed out.

Is this for real? I mean, this reaches an unbelievable level of irresponsibility. If this really happened I hope the health dept. closed the joint immediately. It looks like something you'd see on the movie Clerks. And where was the manager? If I were in charge the LAST thing I would want is someone taping something that foul occuring.

Yes, this is very real.
This story went from local to National and most likly inter-national in less than a day.

All the people making remarks in that clip are just as funny as the rats (those were some big rats, too!). It looked like the restaurant was closed?

Yes, the restaurant was closed. Some of the videos on youtube are some of the newscasts during which they say that the place was closed down on Thursday and will remain closed until the problem is fixed. With the toxicity of rodent feces, I don't think *I* would ever eat in that restaurant again, even if it changed owners and names or anything. Ewwwwww

Seeing this makes me think twice about eating at a "yum" foods restaurant again.

this was one of my favorite local college joints... and it has ALWAYS been sketch. they've failed health inspections every year since 2004. now does that stop anyone from eating from there? nope. everyone for blocks around from the latenite drunk kids to the "can ya spare somechange" homeless folks? not at all.

and as someone mentioned, its a KFC/Tacobell, so KFC shouldnt catch all the bad rap...taco bell has always been nasty.

sure, its gross, but i think about all the "gross" things we put into our bodies, and the infinite types of germs we come into contact with, and suddendly rats in a restaurant isnt as bad. cause at the end of the day, KFC nor Taco Bell is going to lose much business. the KFC near my home and at the mall i went to yesterday showed no signs of decreasing business.

and the rat:human ratio in nyc is like 8:1 so... its only a matter of time before you see where they actually are. its not like gross fast food chains are new, theyve always been gross. hello, it IS fast food.

I walked by the KFC/Taco Bell last night. YUCK.
