I'm swimming for 'betes!
 

Hey all, my chapter is volunteering with the Central OH Diabetes Assoc. Swim/Walk for Diabetes as registration/lap counters. I however, am swimming. I've been type 1 diabetic for 12 years now. I've a very vested interest in diabetes research and treatment, this is near and dear to my heart.

If you could spare even $1, I'd be very grateful. My goal is to raise the minimum $25 before Friday, and my long term goal is to raise at least $150. I chose $150 because that's about how much a vial of insulin costs without health insurance.

I'll be swimming in the diabetic category, and I will also be doing the "super swimmers" category, where I will swim one mile (72 laps). So...again, any spare change you can give will make me very very thankful.
