Panhellenic Alum in NC
Hello all!
A few greek women in the high country area (Watagua, Avery and Ashe counties) of North Carolina are interested in starting an Alumnae Panhellenic! Since we live in a small area, population wise, it is very difficult for individual NPC groups to establish thier own Alumnae group, but all together we can create a wonderful support for the Panhellenic System at Appalachian State University! :) This could also be an awesome oppurtunity to help educate our community about greek life, especially local high school students who are interested in membership! I just wanted to put some feelers out there and see if I could find any interested women here! |
Sounds good --
Don't know if this would be helpful (or you might already have this info.), but NPC has resources for "alumnae panhellenics." http://www.npcwomen.org/alumnae/a_overview.php |
Yes, do contact your local area advisor for the NPC, they can assist you in gathering names to contact for your first meetings, etc.
Good luck - our local APH is a great group and I feel like all of the representatives are my sisters. |
Thanks!
Thanks for the great info ladies, before our first meeting, we planned on getting in touch with the local collegiate chapters, so they could notify thier alums, and putting an ad in the local paper. I will DEFINITELY be in contact with NPC. I'll keep ya'll posted on the progress! Any other suggestions are welcome! The other lady who is working with me on this is a Chi-O, and she is very knowledgable and FABULOUS! Thanks for the help ladies!

I'm in East Tennessee about 45 minutes away, but I work with the ADPi chapter at ASU. I'm happy to help out in any way and perhaps provide you with some interested women in the area. PM me if you want more info!
