rushing as a sophomore

Is it odd to see people rushing as a sophomore? Just curious

It depends.

What school are you rushing at?

arizona state

It is not odd for guys to rush as sophomores. This happens at many schools. Note, I said many, not all.

I rushed as a junior. Rush whenever you want, it's not weird.

A lot has to do with:

The School
The Number of Greeks
The size of the Chapters

Nothing is set in concrete when it comes to classes in school.:)

If you wish to rush, do it.:D

Hell, I started a local at @--- and am still active!!!!:)

Just give it a whirl and see what happens!

Just remember, you are the new kid on the block so do not make age an issue.

Rush quotas and chapter totals do not matter (are not applicable) with IFC rush. So NIC/IFC chapters may pledge as many men as they deem worthy of a bid. Be they freshman, sophomore, junior or senior. But as others have noted, it really depends on the campus culture (i.e. the chapters). The bottom line is that if a chapter feels you are worthy of a bid, they will most likely extend you one.

ASU is not competitive. I would not hesitate to go through fraternity rush there as a sophomore or even junior.
